August ’14. Our 5:00 pm kids  class is gearing up with kids back to school! 

 

Trip To Fuku-Kancho Hiroshige’s Seminar in Connecticut , August 2014

Although we have taken groups from our Durham Dojo to tournaments in the North East 20 times over the bast 7 years, this was our first dojo drip taken from the (relatively) new Chapel Hill dojo. Fourteen of us went to join a Kyokushin-kan Seminar hosted by Shihan Fujiwara in Connecticut in order to welcome instructors from our headquarters in Japan including our Vice-Chairman, Shihan Tsuyoshi Hiroshike. Notice the pictures taken in Central Park and on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art where we stopped on the way home. Also seen here is a picture of a 5-min “rest area training” where we practiced kata together at a road side stop. It was a long drive in 3 cars.
